"Magnetism for Ukraine Initiative” Workshop 2024
On November 14, 2024, the Institute of Magnetism hosted “Magnetism for Ukraine Initiative” Workshop. The Workshop summarized the results of the IEEE “Magnetism for Ukraine Initiative 2022-2023” − grant program, initiated by IEEE Magnetics Society and funded by IEEE with the assistance of Science and Technology Center in Ukraine. The program's goal is to support and aid in the recovery of science and technology in Ukraine, as well as to promote ongoing research and development activities in the fields related to magnetism.
At the opening of the Workshop, the participants were greeted by the President of the IEEE Magnetics Society Professor Atsufumi Hirohata and the Secretary&Treasurer of the IEEE Magnetics Society Professor Sara Majetich.
During the workshop, participants presented nearly thirty talks focusing on their recent advances in various branches of the physics of magnetism and magnetic materials. Ukrainian scientists expressed their sincere gratitude to the IEEE Magnetics Society for its significant contribution to supporting Ukrainian science during this difficult time for our country!
